Vineyard and terroir
The Moscato comes from vineyards in Coazzolo and Castagnole delle Lanze. The south-facing sites cover 20 ha at an altitude of 300 m. The vines average 45 years of age and grow in calcareous marl tending toward sandy characteristics.

Vinification
Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled autoclaves for an average period of one month.
Technical data
The 2024 wine has 5.5% alcohol by volume and total acidity of 5.2 g/L. Formats are 375 ml and 750 ml. Average production is 90,000 bottles.
Tasting profile
The general profile is delicate, fragrant, fresh and graceful. Citrus and white flowers lead the aroma, while mandarin, lime and geranium-flower notes carry onto a mineral palate. The 2024 vintage is deep yellow with bright highlights. Its enveloping bouquet combines ripe pineapple, orange blossom and delicate white peach. The palate is fresh and balanced, with orange-flower notes and an elegant, persistent, mineral finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 6–8 °C in a Bordeaux glass.
Label / history
The first vintage was 1977. Biancospino takes its name from a flower, described in the English profile as elderflower.
