Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown in Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in mid-October. The grapes are macerated for 12–15 days, with the cap punched down daily to give the wine its intense colour and support more complete fermentation.
Ageing
The wine is not aged in oak barrels. It rests in stainless-steel tanks before bottling, then matures a further 3–4 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Rich, slightly tannic palate with a refined fruity character and a distinctive charm developed without oak. The colour is intense.
