Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on Eocene marl and sandstone soils in Friuli. The wine is bottled as Venezia Giulia IGT.
Grapes
The blend combines Ribolla Gialla, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Ribolla Gialla gives texture and fresh floral notes. Sauvignon Blanc adds freshness and structure. Chardonnay brings complexity, juicy fruit and subtle hints of spice.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully destemmed and gently pressed, and the must is clarified by decanting. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, which preserves pure fruit character and freshness.
Ageing
The wine rests on fine lees for several months, gaining a fuller texture, delicate creaminess and greater depth of flavour. After bottling it matures in temperature-controlled facilities.
Tasting profile
Fresh and elegant, with a silky texture and bright minerality. The nose and palate show an expressive mix of fruit and floral notes. The palate is well balanced, with refreshing, delicate acidity. The finish is long and mineral, with a gentle saline edge.
Serving and pairing
Suited to seafood and fish, matched by its delicate acidity and refined salinity. Also suited to summer dinners, aperitifs and relaxed get-togethers. It can be kept for 3–4 years.
