Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from two south- and southwest-facing plots in Tuscany, at an altitude of 300 m. Planting density does not exceed 5,500 vines per hectare. The medium-grained soils consist mainly of stony alluvial deposits, limestone, sand and shale.
Vinification
The two plots are harvested separately: the first in mid-September and the second during the final ten days of October. The crushed grapes undergo four hours of maceration at 5 °C before alcoholic fermentation. Fermentation takes place at 18 °C in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
