Vineyard and terroir
This limited-production Malbec comes from selected plots at Finca Miralejos in Paraje Altamira. The vines average 20 years of age and grow at an average altitude of 1,050 metres. Stony soil with calcareous components contributes to the wine’s mineral character.
Grapes
100% Malbec.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually into 18–20 kg boxes. After bunch selection, they are destemmed and the berries selected. The must undergoes cold maceration for five to seven days at 8–10°C, followed by fermentation in small stainless-steel tanks with regular punching down and délestage. It is then transferred to oak barrels for malolactic fermentation and maturation. After ageing, the wine is filtered and bottled.
Ageing
Twelve months in oak barrels, followed by at least six months in the winery cellar before release.

Tasting profile
Bright red in colour. The 2024 vintage is expressive, with fresh red fruit and violet aromas. It is juicy on the palate, showing pronounced tension, good acidity, fine tannins and rounded texture. The finish is long and persistent. The broader profile emphasizes Altamira’s mineral expression, evoking wet stone and chalk alongside cherry and strawberry notes.
