Vineyard and terroir

The 2025 blend comes from vineyards in Gualtallary, Tupungato. The vines average 25 years of age and grow at an average elevation of 1,050 metres.

Grapes

Latest published vintage (2025): 50% Chardonnay, 35% Semillón and 15% Sauvignon Blanc.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested manually and the bunches selected before whole-bunch pressing at less than one bar. The must settles for 24 hours at 8°C. All three varieties ferment for ten days at a controlled 14–16°C. Semillón and Sauvignon Blanc ferment in stainless-steel tanks, while Chardonnay ferments in French oak barrels and undergoes partial malolactic fermentation. After ageing, the components are blended, gently filtered and bottled.

Ageing

Semillón and Sauvignon Blanc remain in stainless steel for eight months. Chardonnay spends eight months in French oak barrels with suspended fine lees, contributing additional smoothness.

Technical data

2025 vintage: 13.90% alcohol, total acidity 6.9, pH 3.2 and residual sugar 1.7 g/l. Ageing potential is eight years.

Tasting profile

Bright yellow with golden and greenish reflections. The nose combines pear and peach with subtle floral notes and vanilla from the oak. Fresh and enveloping on the palate, it has good texture and balanced acidity, followed by a long, elegant and harmonious finish.

Serving and pairing

Serve between 8°C and 12°C.
