Vineyard and terroir
Conceived as a rosé from the vineyard onward, the 2024 wine uses fruit from Valle de Uco, Mendoza. The vineyards lie at 900–1,100 metres, and the vines average 20 years of age.
Grapes
Pinot Noir and Grenache; the proportions are not specified. Grenache contributes fresh, deep red-fruit character, while Pinot Noir supplies citrus, spice and floral notes.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested manually and the clusters selected. Whole bunches undergo direct pressing at low temperature, and the must ferments in stainless steel. The wine then remains on its fine lees for two months in concrete tanks or pools. Gentle filtration precedes bottling.
Ageing
No oak-barrel ageing. The wine spends two months on fine lees in concrete.
Technical data
The 2024 vintage has 12.7% alcohol, pH 3.3, total acidity of 6.60 and residual sugar of 1.1.
