Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from estate vineyards in Maipú and the Uco Valley, Mendoza, giving the wine its Mendoza identity. The sites range from 780 to 1,100 metres, and the vines average 20 years of age.
Grapes
100% Sauvignon Blanc.
Vinification
The 2020 grapes were picked by hand at two different levels of ripeness and vinified separately. Bunch selection was followed by destemming and manual berry selection. After pressing and four to six hours of maceration, the must settled in tanks for 24 hours. Fermentation proceeded in stainless steel at 16°C with selected yeasts. The wine then remained on fine lees for six months before the two components were blended, gently filtered and bottled.
Ageing
No oak-barrel ageing.
