Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the San Luigi vineyard, where the vines have grown since 1897.
Grapes
The original vines were later cloned for the production of this wine.
Vinification
The wine is made in a Burgundy-inspired style. After pressing, the must begins fermentation in stainless-steel tanks before continuing in barrels on the lees, with regular stirring.
Ageing
After bottling, the wine rests for a further 6–8 months.
Label / history
Annual production is limited to 2,800 bottles.
