Vineyard and terroir
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are grown in two low-yielding estate vineyards in northern Italy.
Vinification
Fermentation and maceration take place in small stainless-steel tanks. The wine is bottled without filtration to preserve its distinctive character.
Ageing
The wine matures for one year in new French oak barrels, followed by one year in bottle. The 2004 vintage was recommended for drinking after 2009.
