Storia

Marchese d’Azeglio within La Lomellina

Marchese d’Azeglio is one of the two wineries brought together under the Piedmontese La Lomellina operation, alongside Marchese Raggio. Marchese d’Azeglio is associated with the group’s production of Barolo and Langhe Nebbiolo, while Marchese Raggio is the name attached to its Gavi wines.

The wider Capichera–La Lomellina enterprise is currently entrusted to Carlo Bonomi. No dated account of Marchese d’Azeglio’s foundation, acquisition, vineyard development, construction, ownership transitions or changes of management is available.
