Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes come from several areas of Abruzzo: San Martino sulla Marrucina, Ripa Teatina and Colonnella. The vineyards lie on hillsides at 160 to 440 m above sea level, planted at around 1,600 vines per hectare.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in early October. The grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, and the juice is left to settle. It then ferments for 15 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine rests for several months in stainless steel tanks and is bottled in February.
