Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the company's own vineyards in the Val Venosta valley, at 600–750 m above sea level. The vines are 15–20 years old.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested only when they reach optimal ripeness, then gently pressed at the winery. Fermentation is spontaneous, in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
Six months on the lees follows fermentation.

The wine belongs to the "Graf von Meran" range from Merano.
