Vineyard and terroir

The grapes grow on 1 ha of east-facing slopes in the municipality of Buttrio, at 110 m above sea level. The vines are more than 20 years old. The soils consist mainly of Eocene marl rich in mineral deposits, limestone and calcium. This encourages deep root systems with reliable access to moisture during dry periods, supporting slow, even ripening and the development of natural acidity, minerality and structure. The vineyard is farmed entirely organically, without chemical fertilizers.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested by hand, with selection of the finest bunches. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in wooden barrels at a controlled temperature using selected yeasts.

Ageing

The wine rests for at least 10 months in second-use wooden barrels.

Tasting profile

Elegant, fresh and juicy, with a generous, full aroma and natural acidity, minerality and structure.
