Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The estate’s twenty-year-old vines grow on east-facing hills in Friuli at an altitude of 140 metres. The marl soils have a rich structure and retain moisture during dry seasons. The exposure allows the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly while developing flavour and aroma.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in wooden barrels at a controlled temperature for 20 days.
Ageing
The wine matures for more than eight months in a combination of new and used French oak barriques, developing refined nuances, complexity and a soft texture. It then rests in bottle for at least one year, gaining depth and finesse.
Tasting profile
Balanced and refreshing, with elegant floral and fruity aromas.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with light appetisers, fish dishes and seafood.
Label / history
Average annual production is 1,020 bottles.
