Vineyard and terroir
The Nebbiolo is grown in the Barolo area of Piedmont, on limestone, clay and sandy soils.
Vinification
The must undergoes alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25–28 °C. During fermentation, it is periodically pumped over the cap, which is also pushed down with a mechanical plunger. Pneumatic presses provide rapid, gentle pressing. In the final stages, the wine is clarified and filtered.
Ageing
The wine spends an unspecified period in oak barrels.
