Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from Magrè and Nalles. In Magrè, the vines grow in deep calcareous soils; in Nalles, they are rooted in mineral-rich porphyry and limestone gravel. The sub-Mediterranean climate has hot summers and mild winters and is influenced by the Ora, the warm afternoon wind from Lake Garda.
Grapes
70% Chardonnay and 30% Sauvignon.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. The clarified must ferments for approximately three weeks in stainless-steel tanks.
Ageing
The young wine matures on its fine lees for another five months before bottling. The bottle is closed with a screw cap.
Tasting profile
Clear straw yellow with medium depth. Fresh aromas recall pineapple, passion fruit and freshly cut grass. The palate is close-knit, crisp and tangy, supported by enveloping acidity and ending with a mineral finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12 °C with Neapolitan pizza or kimchi. Store in a cool place at 10–13 °C with at least 60% humidity.
