Vineyard and terroir
The Sauvignon Blanc grows in vineyards in the Langhe area of Piedmont, at 300–400 m above sea level.
Vinification
The grapes are picked very gently by hand and placed in small baskets, which preserves the purity and freshness of the fruit aromas and lets the character of the terroir come through as fully as possible. Gentle pressing is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, which keeps the flavours bright.
Ageing
The wine rests on its lees for around 6 months in stainless steel, which adds structure, depth and a light creaminess. It sees no oak.
Tasting profile
Fresh, vibrant and elegant. The lees ageing gives structure, depth and a light creaminess, and the freshness and mineral character remain clear and expressive.
Serving and pairing
Suited to light summer lunches, outdoor picnics, or as an aperitif in warm weather.
