Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from a vineyard at 330 metres above sea level.
Grapes
The wine uses all three Nebbiolo clones grown in Piedmont: Lampia, Michet and Rosé. The producer chooses them to capture the grape's full range of flavours and aromas.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in the second half of October, then destemmed and gently pressed. The must ferments for 12 days at 26 °C. Malolactic fermentation follows.
Ageing
The wine ages for 12 months in Slavonian and French oak barrels and is tasted every week to follow its development. After bottling it matures a further 12 months in the winery's cellars.
Tasting profile
Pure Nebbiolo showing the grape's classic character.
