Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from the "Tucci" vineyard in Montà d'Alba. They give the wine the distinctive structure and saline character associated with Arneis di Montà.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand in mid-September. Fermentation takes place at 16 °C and lasts around 15 days.
Ageing
The wine ages on fine lees for around 9 months, with periodic bâtonnage, partly in stainless-steel tanks and partly in terracotta amphorae. After bottling it matures for a further 6 months in the winery's cellars.
Tasting profile
Light and breezy in feel, with a distinctive structure and a saline character.
Serving and pairing
Suited to a summer aperitif or to fish dishes.
Label / history
