Early years\nMario Pelassa had already been making wine from his own vineyards for more than 50 years by the time the winery's current building was constructed.\n\n### 1960\nThe current winery building was built by Mario, with the help of his wife, Maria Teresa Viglione.\n\n### By 2000\nMario and Maria Teresa's sons, Davide and Daniele, had transformed the winery into a modern, forward-looking and growing business.\n\nEvery generation of the Pelassa family has been involved in winemaking, and through hard work, thoughtful decisions, a deep commitment to winemaking and close attention to detail, the family has built a presence both locally and internationally.
