Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the “Alto” vineyard in San Lorenzo, a sloping site with predominantly clay soils and abundant rock fragments. The soils provide good drainage and contribute to aromatic intensity and concentration. The Guyot-trained vines are 14 years old on average and planted at a density of 6,000 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimal ripeness to maintain the balance between sugar and acidity.
Ageing
The wine matures for around 12 months in barrels, including 20% new French barriques, followed by at least 10 months in bottle.
Tasting profile
Warm, deep and concentrated, with intense aromas, texture and balance.
