Vineyard and terroir
The vines are 16 years old and grow on the Tuscan coast, in clay and sandy soils with a subtle limestone component. The soils are mineral-rich and give the wine structure and freshness. The vines are trained on the Guyot system, which encourages even ripening and helps keep the wine balanced.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks under precise temperature control, to preserve the clean, expressive character of each variety.
Ageing
The wine ages for about 10 months in second- and third-use oak barrels and in large oak vessels. This keeps the wine's natural character without dominant woody notes. It then rests for at least 6 months in bottle in the winery's cellars, developing harmony, cohesion and a polished style.
Tasting profile
Modern and elegant in style, with structure and freshness, mineral character and no dominant oak. Harmonious and cohesive, with a polished finish.
