Vineyard and terroir
The Grenache is grown in Petra’s vineyards in Maremma, Tuscany, on limestone-rich, mineral soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates. At the winery, they undergo a brief skin maceration to impart the wine’s pink colour. The must then ferments in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and with fish, seafood and vegetable salads.
Label / history
Belvento is Petra’s line of “sea wines,” inspired by Tuscany’s distinctive coastal character and wild landscape.
