Vineyard and terroir
The wine comes from a single vineyard in Monforte d’Alba. The Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia project began in 1998, when the Migliorini family acquired the homonymous vineyard. Rodolfo Migliorini subsequently took personal responsibility for cultivating and vinifying its grapes. Integrated and sustainable vineyard practices were introduced to conserve natural resources and protect the surrounding hills.
Vintage notes
The Riserva is made only in the best years. The 2012 vintage appears in the 2026 price list in standard bottle, magnum and 3-litre formats.
Label / history
Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia takes its name from the vineyard from which it originates. Two Barolo wines are produced from this site: Barolo Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia D.O.C.G. and this Riserva version.
