Vineyard and terroir
The fruit is grown on the stony soils typical of Grave del Friuli, which contribute a mineral character.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first two weeks of September, while they retain the acidity needed for freshness. They are vinified in a white-wine style, with the juice gently pressed off the skins. Fermentation takes place at a controlled 18 °C to develop and preserve the grapes’ natural aromas. A second fermentation in an autoclave, following the Martinotti–Charmat method, produces a soft, refreshing sparkle.
