Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from the winery’s vineyards in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, where the soils are characteristically stony.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested during the first half of September and gently pressed at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 18 °C. The second fermentation is carried out in autoclaves by the Charmat-Martinotti method for at least 60 days.

Vintage notes
In 2022, Friuli experienced a dry winter with little rainfall and temperatures that were not especially low. Mild temperatures and good weather in spring supported steady vine growth. The summer was hot, but the vines did not suffer excessive water stress. Harvest conditions were favourable, and the grapes had excellent aromas.
