Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards lie among the hills of Pisa at 137 metres above sea level. The medium-textured sandy loam soils contain fossilized seashell remains, and planting density is 5,680 vines per hectare.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand from September to October.
