Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are grown organically in two parts of Maremma Toscana. The vineyards in Baccinello lie at 350 m on alluvial soils composed mainly of clay and limestone, with abundant coarse gravel. The Alberese plots are at sea level on sandy clay soils.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand into small crates. Alcoholic fermentation takes place on the skins for approximately two weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Ageing
The wine matures in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Tasting profile
Bright fruit and berry aromas and flavours are retained through fermentation and maturation in stainless steel.
