The fruit is grown in Veneto, northeastern Italy.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and cold-macerated for 5–10 hours. After traditional fermentation, the base wine undergoes a second fermentation by the Charmat method in sealed autoclaves.
