Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in Monforte, Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga. Their Tortonian soils consist of clay and limestone and are rich in magnesium and manganese.
Vinification
The 2021 harvest ran from 6 to 15 October. The grapes were selected, destemmed and crushed, then macerated on the skins for eight days at 30 °C. Malolactic fermentation finished by the end of winter.
Ageing
The wine aged for at least 18 months in oak barrels of various sizes. After bottling, it continued to mature in the winery’s cellars.

Elegant and balanced in structure, with refined, gently sweet tannins.
Serving and pairing
Decant for one hour before serving.
