Vineyard and terroir
Bric Turot is a vineyard in the commune of Barbaresco. Its Tortonian soil consists of fine particles forming layers of silty loam and is rich in trace elements, including manganese, zinc and boron.
Vinification
The 2014 harvest began in late September. The grapes were destemmed and crushed, then macerated for 15 days at 30 °C. Malolactic fermentation was completed before winter.
Ageing
The wine rested for 12 months in 50 hl oak casks and one-year-old oak barrels, followed by a further 12 months in bottle.
