100% Barbera from organically farmed vines.
Vinification
The grapes are carefully selected and harvested by hand into perforated crates. Picking is delayed as long as possible to achieve a harmonious, approachable profile. The fruit is crushed and destemmed, then ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. Gentle racking is followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for several months in concrete tanks, remaining there at least until the first warm weather, when it is prepared for bottling. Wood is deliberately excluded from the process.
Tasting profile
Ruby red, with intense, harmonious aromas of red berries. The fruit is equally clear on the palate, accompanied by moderate acidity and a dry, clean finish. Its direct varietal character is emphasized by the complete absence of wood.
