Vineyard and terroir
The Falanghina grows in the vineyards of Lapio at 450 metres, on limestone soils with volcanic elements, which give the wine its mineral character. The vines are more than forty years old and well adapted to the terroir, producing concentrated, highly aromatic grapes. Temperature shifts at this elevation give the wine its balance of power and elegance.
Vinification
Whole bunches are pressed slowly in an oxygen-free environment. The free-run juice is clarified by natural settling. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks (70%) and new oak barrels (30%).
Ageing
8 months on the fine lees after fermentation.
Vintage notes
The 2024 vintage can be enjoyed until at least 2034.
