Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Panzano in Chianti, and the wine is bottled at Fattoria di Rignana. The vineyards lie at 350 m above sea level with southeast–southwest exposure, on clayey, calcareous soils containing Galestro. The Guyot-trained vines are planted at 5,000 plants per hectare.

100% Sangiovese, picked early.
Vinification
Harvest begins in September and is carried out by hand. The fruit undergoes a brief maceration at controlled temperature, followed by immediate pressing. The juice is transferred to stainless steel, where it ferments for 30 days at a controlled temperature no higher than 15°C.
Technical data
Alcohol: 12.5%. Total acidity: 6.32 g/L. pH: 3.06. Production is approximately 4,000 bottles of 0.75 L.
Tasting profile
Onion-skin in colour, with fresh, mineral aromas and pronounced Sangiovese acidity. The overall style is fruity and fresh.
Serving and pairing
Suitable as an aperitif and for drinking cool during warmer months. Pair with appetisers, first courses and white meats.
