Vineyard and terroir
The grapes come from Panzano in Chianti, and the wine is estate bottled by Fattoria di Rignana. The vineyards lie at 350 m above sea level, with southeast-to-southwest exposure and clay-limestone soils containing Galestro. The vines are Guyot trained and farmed organically.
Grapes
85% Sangiovese and 15% Canaiolo.
Vinification
Vinification lasts 21 days in stainless-steel vats at a controlled temperature no higher than 27°C. No selected yeast is added.
Ageing
The wine matures for 6 months in concrete vats and a further 6 months in third-use oak barriques.
Technical data
Alcohol: 13.5%.
Tasting profile
An intense ruby-red Chianti Classico with fruit and violet aromas. The palate combines fresh, soft tannins with pronounced savouriness on the finish, reflecting the character of its vintage and Panzano origins.

A versatile food wine, especially suitable for fresh pasta and cured meats.
