Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in the Monferrato region of northern Italy.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand and taken to the winery. Part of the crop is left to dry slightly on the vine before picking, which gives the wine a distinctive character. Every stage of production is carefully monitored.
Ageing
The wine ages for at least one year in American and French oak barrels before bottling.
