Vineyard and terroir
The vineyards are in central Tuscany and face south-west. Their calcareous soils are of marine origin and contain a marked presence of white seashells. Vines are trained using vertical shoot positioning and Guyot-pruned.
Grapes
Malvasia, Trebbiano and Vermentino.
Vinification
The grapes are delicately crushed, then the must ferments at a controlled 12–14°C to preserve the fruit’s delicate aromas and flavours.
Tasting profile
Straw yellow. Floral aromas are joined by hints of banana and pineapple. The palate is medium-bodied, dry and fresh, with balanced acidity, good body and a clean finish.
Serving and pairing
Serve at 10–12°C. Pair with risotto, herbed chicken, savoury pies or fish main courses.
