Vineyard and terroir
The Dolcetto fruit is grown in Piedmont, at the foot of the Western Alps. The mountains surround the region to the north and west, forming a natural border with Provence. Growing conditions include hot summer sunshine, cold autumn winds and winter fog.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified using the traditional method for dry red wines.
Tasting profile
The finish is appealing and slightly bitter.
Serving and pairing
Pairs with Piedmontese dishes such as carpaccio and with grilled meat.
