Vineyard and terroir
The fruit comes from vineyards in the southern part of Montello, at 150–200 m above sea level. The soils are stony, and the vines average 10–15 years of age. The grapes are harvested entirely by hand in late September and carefully sorted. The estate uses organic winemaking methods.
Vinification
Fermentation lasts 10 days in stainless-steel tanks.
Tasting profile

Label / history
Produced since 1987, with an annual output of 30,000–60,000 bottles.
The estate traces its history to Abazia di Nervesa, a Benedictine monastery founded near Nervesa della Battaglia in the 11th century. Its monks cultivated grapes and made wine, developing a large estate that survived until it was destroyed in 1918 during the First World War. In 1986, Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto began reviving the former monastery winery. Using historical documents and maps, they worked to reconstruct its earlier landscape, architecture and vineyards. The estate also continues a long-term programme to develop and select local vines and revive the area’s genetic heritage.
