Glera is blended with a small proportion of Pinot Nero.
Vinification
Pinot Nero is harvested in late August, followed by Glera in the second half of September. The grapes are gently pressed, then the varieties undergo separate, slow fermentations in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks. Pinot Nero also macerates on its skins for 10 days. Secondary fermentation takes place in autoclaves.
