Storia
1957 – Founding
Colli del Soligo was founded in 1957 by 31 winegrowers who shared a passion for Prosecco, with Francesco Canella at the head of the company. A few years later, more members joined the original group, drawn by the opportunity to make their mark through cooperation, the local land and products created with careful attention to the vines. The winery is located halfway between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, along a route also known as the "white wine road."
1959 – First bottling
The first bottle of "Villa Maria" Prosecco was released in 1959 and received major winemaking awards.
1977 – New leadership
Ezio Spina became the company's new president in 1977.
1980 – Distribution network
Soligo began developing a nationwide network of agents to distribute its products.
1998 – Headquarters expansion
The company headquarters was expanded, and a new branded store also opened.
2000 – Modernization
New equipment was purchased, and the winery's interiors were fully modernized.
2013 – New warehouse
The Soligo facility added a new automated warehouse.
Terroir
The winery is located halfway between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, along a route also known as the "white wine road."
Vinificazione
Around 600 people work at the winery, caring for the vineyards day after day. This gives the winemaking team grapes described by the company as high quality to work with and helps create wines that reflect their terroir. Careful work in the vineyards allows the team to use traditional winemaking methods.
Traditional winemaking methods are supported by a modern analytical laboratory and bottling line, intended to ensure that every bottle is true to its style, safe and, in the company's own description, high in quality.
Filosofia
The company holds that quality depends not only on technical factors but also on good organization and management. It states that its certifications—9001, IFS, BRC, BIO and VEGAN—confirm that its products and services meet established quality standards and, above all, reflect its commitment to continuous improvement and meeting customer needs.
