Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow on hillsides across six municipalities in the Gavi DOCG zone, at 250–300 metres above sea level. The soils are limestone with some clay, and the vines are 15 years old on average.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested both by hand and mechanically during the first three weeks of September. After gentle pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature.
Ageing
The young wine spends at least three months on the lees before bottling at the end of winter.
Tasting profile
Clean and fresh, with elegant floral and fruity aromas and refreshing, well-balanced acidity.
