Terroir

The Gavi area lies in the southern part of Piedmont, in Monferrato, where gentle hills stretch toward the Apennines and the sea. Vineyards, woods and fields form a green landscape that is home to the Cortese grape. Sea breezes from neighbouring Liguria and the local soils shape the wines. The 15 vineyards have different terroirs.
