The selected fruit comes from vineyards in Siebeneich, Siemegg and Montigl, at elevations of 250–600 m.
Grapes
The grapes are selected before vinification.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature in stainless-steel vats, with gentle daily bâtonnage, followed by malolactic fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures in large oak barrels for 16 months.
