The grapes grow on clay soils in Marcellise at 200 metres above sea level.
Vinification
Selected grapes undergo spontaneous fermentation after harvest.
Ageing
The wine rests for eight months in stainless-steel tanks, followed by a further 12 months in bottle in the winery’s cellars.
Label / history
Cristiano’s back-label text dedicates the wine to the strength of spirit of those who refuse to give up. It recalls a storm that struck suddenly on a hot summer day in 2021 and determined the fate of that year’s work.
