Label / history
The Piantaferro range is produced at 47 Anno Domini, a winery within the Tombacco group. The name Piantaferro combines pianta (plant or crop) and ferro (iron or rod), recalling a local tradition of marking newly discovered fertile ground by driving a stake into it. Its trademark depicts three stylized vine rows, symbolizing the fertility of the Piave land.
