Vineyard and terroir
The grapes grow in Eastern Sicily on black clay soil.
Vinification
Harvest takes place in late September, followed by fermentation.
Ageing
The wine matures for four months in stainless steel tanks and a further three months in bottle.
Label / history
The label draws on the Baroque style associated with the Ragusa Valley. Its smiling stone-mask figure represents Syrah’s bright fruit character. The collection comprises four single-varietal wines, each identified by a mask with a distinct face, character and story.
