Storia
2002
Gianluca Bisol came across an old vineyard near Santa Maria Assunta, the oldest church in the area. After meeting its owner, Nicoletta, he began agronomic research in the vineyard and identified Dorona, one of the oldest native grape varieties. The 1966 flood had almost completely wiped out the variety, and only 88 vines survived.
2010
After extensive work in the vineyards, the first harvest took place in 2010 and produced 4,880 bottles of Venissa white wine.
Later
The company also makes a red wine from grapes grown on the neighbouring island of Santa Cristina.
