Questo vino
Vineyard and terroir
The grapes are estate-grown in Greve in Chianti on predominantly limestone soils and harvested by hand.
Grapes
Tuscan Trebbiano, Aromatic Traminer and complementary estate-grown grapes. The first vintage was produced in 1992.
Vinification
The whole grapes are gently pressed following brief cold maceration on the skins. The free-run juice is separated, allowed to settle naturally and fermented at low temperature.
Ageing
Maturation takes place on the lees for approximately 5 months, followed by at least 2 months of bottle ageing.
